SHIPPING DETAILS:
- All orders can be placed online via our secure service 24 hours a day/7 days a week. Your order will be confirmed by e-mail. When we send the confirmation it will include the price of your basket with shipping and handling within the continental US, and tax, if applicable.
- All orders must be received by 12 noon EST in order to ship the same day.
- We ship our gift baskets MONDAY-FRIDAY within the 48 contiguous states via UPS. FedEX, or USPS. Express and 2-Day Air is available at additional charge. There are NO Saturday or Sunday deliveries.
- All shipments require a street address and contact name-NO PO Box numbers or APOs.
SUMMER SHIPPING RULES
Due to extreme temperatures between the months of April-October, certain items will only be available with overnight shipping due to the possibility of volatility of the product. Orders including perishable goods such as cakes, chocolates-heat sensitive items) will require shipment upgrade. Perishables ship Monday to Thursday ONLY.
If your gift recipient is not present at the time of delivery and damage occurs (including melting), as the result of a delay in claiming the package, we will not be responsible.
PLEASE NOTIFY THE RECIPIENT OF THE DELIVERY SO THEY WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR PACKAGE DELIVERY!

Deliveries to Businesses & Residences
If you're sending a package to a business, please be aware that the delivery driver may deliver the product to a shipping and receiving department. Please let the recipient/business know that they should be receiving a package.
KanastaGiftBaskets.com is not responsible if the recipient is not available to receive the package, or the business is closed, or no one is available to sign for the package. We assume no responsibility for gifts becoming lost or misplaced within a business.
We also are not responsible for packages being left when a customer has a signature release on file with UPS or FedEX. Any claim will not be honored if the recipient has this agreement on file with either carrier.
GIFT WRAPPING
All gift baskets are prepared carefully and wrapped in Shrink Wrap or Gift Cello or Tulle and decorated with festive ribboning.
DELIVERIES TO HOSPITALS
We currently DO NOT deliver to hospitals due to the possibility of it being misplaced, undelivered by hospital staff to the patient's room, or the patient being discharged prior to delivery.
ADDRESS CORRECTIONS & PACKAGE REROUTE FEES:
You are responsible for providing an accurate and complete recipient address (including name,apartment if applicable,suite,floor, zip code). If you are unsure of any of these items, please verify before placing the completed order. We are not responsible for undelivered packages due to incorrect/incomplete addresses given. Rerouted, refused and returned packages automatically void any free shipping. Up to a $20.00 handling fee per gift to reroute a package will be charged. Actual shipping charges will be deducted from any refunds.
PLEASE AVOID THIS FEE BY PROVIDING ACCURATE AND COMPLETE INFORMATION WHEN YOUR ORDER IS PLACED.
FOR HEALTH REASONS PERISHABLE ITEMS CANNOT BE RETURNED.
SUBSTITUTIONS:
Substitutions may be made with items of greater or equal value if necessary, to insure freshness and timely delivery OR in the case of an item being out of stock at the time of your order.
